Parking in Bellamonte: More Convenient, Safer, Closer to the Slopes
Starting from the 2025-26 winter season, arriving and parking in Bellamonte is a completely new experience. We have revolutionized access to our ski area to offer you more parking spaces, greater safety for the whole family, and direct, fast access to the lifts.
The Benefits for You, in Brief
+200 Parking Spaces
A new, large parking lot to minimize search time and maximize your time on the slopes.
Maximum Safety
The area in front of the gondola is now a pedestrian zone. Children can move around freely, and you can enjoy your arrival without any worries.
Direct and Fast Access
From the new parking lot, an escalator and an elevator take you directly to the services level: ticket office, rental, and lifts.
Simplified Arrival
Access to the parking lots is immediate, directly from the provincial road, with clear and simple directions.
How to Arrive and Where to Park
We have reorganized the access points to make them smoother and more intuitive. Here’s how it works:
- Direct entrance from the Provincial Road: As soon as you arrive at Castelir in Bellamonte, you will immediately find the entrance to the parking area.
- Parking on the right (P1): On the right, you will find the lower parking lot, which remains unchanged from previous years.
- New parking on the left (P2): On the left, you enter the new, large parking area. From here, using the escalator and elevator, you can go directly up to the gondola's pedestrian plaza.
Our tip? The earlier you arrive, the better you park!
A New Plaza on the Snow: Welcome to the Pedestrian Area
The real revolution is the space we have given back to people. The entire area in front of the Bellamonte 3.0 gondola departure has become a Restricted Traffic Zone (ZTL)
To assist families and those needing to unload equipment, we have created a dedicated "Drop off" short-stay area located in the upper plaza, right in front of the access to the services. Here you can stop for the time strictly necessary for loading and unloading, and then conveniently head to the P1 or P2 parking lots.
This means:
- No passing cars: more safety for everyone, especially for families.
- Wide, open spaces: move comfortably between the ticket office, rental shop, and ski school.
- A more relaxed atmosphere: the experience begins in a quiet and welcoming environment, not in a parking lot.
Map of the New Parking Areas
To help you find your way even before you arrive, we have prepared a clear map of the new layout. You will immediately find the access from the provincial road, directions for the P1 parking lot, and the new P2 parking lot with direct access via the escalator and elevator.

We always want to offer you the highest quality. The new parking project is almost complete, but some finishing touches are scheduled for the future to minimize disruption during the season. We will soon complete the work with:
- Complete asphalting of all parking areas.
- Installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.
We thank you for your patience as we complete this important investment for you.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is parking free of charge?
No, all our parking lots are free for guests of the Alpe Lusia Ski Area.
Is there reserved parking for campers or buses?
Yes, an area dedicated to tourist buses is located right in front of the gondola, on the upper level. While there are currently no equipped parking areas for campers, they can park and stay overnight in the dedicated area of the P1 parking lot, free of charge.
Is parking for people with disabilities guaranteed?
Absolutely. Reserved and accessible parking spaces are available near the entrance of the new P2 parking lot to ensure the most convenient access to services possible.
Can I stop near the lifts to drop off equipment or children?
Yes. We have set up a "Drop off" area for quick drop-offs and pick-ups in the upper plaza, in front of the gondola. We ask that you use it only for the time strictly necessary and then move your car to the main P1 or P2 parking lots for long-term parking.
Are the escalator and elevator always running?
Yes, they are operational during the entire opening hours of the lifts to ensure convenient and fast access at all times of the day. The escalators are reversible: in the morning, you can go up comfortably; in the afternoon from 1:30 PM, they go down!
