Clean energy for the future of Bellamonte: new photovoltaic system now operational

S.I.T. Bellamonte S.p.A. continues its commitment to sustainable development with the installation of a new rooftop photovoltaic system, designed to reduce the environmental impact of its operations and enhance the surrounding territory.

The system, with a nominal power of 188.37 kWp, is expected to generate over 185,000 kWh of renewable energy per year, covering approximately 75% of energy needs through self-consumption. This results in a significant environmental benefit, avoiding around 63 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.

A sustainable investment

This project represents a strategic step towards energy transition and environmental responsibility:

  • increased use of renewable energy sources
  • reduced dependence on fossil fuels
  • improved energy efficiency of facilities

Value for the territory

The initiative is part of a broader vision of sustainable management of the ski area, where innovation and environmental protection go hand in hand. The goal is to offer increasingly efficient tourism services while minimizing the impact on the alpine ecosystem.

The project was also made possible thanks to support from European FESR funds, which help companies invest in innovation and sustainability.

This investment confirms S.I.T. Bellamonte’s commitment to actively contributing to environmental protection through concrete actions for a more sustainable future.
