This nice educational path leaves from the cable-car station in Le Cune, a wonderful panoramic point located at 2,200 meters height in the Dolomites. It is suitable for children and goes down through woods and pastures up to Valbona Chalet (1750 m). The path develops in a mild slope for 3 km, first along a forestry route, then on a gravel path, accessible with trekking pushchairs.

While exploring animal refuges, you can learn their lifestyle and their main features through nice educational panels, games and riddles. So, the nest becomes the theme in a naturalistic path, telling about animals’ stories and curiosities living in Trentino woods, revealing bears’, marmots’ and roe deer’s secrets.

During your slope, you can find various equipped station for a nice picnic and if you wish to have a good lunch in the chalet, we advise to take a break in Malga Pozza (advised deviation for pushchairs) or get to Valbona Chalet, where a wonderful playground is waiting for you. To reach the starting point of the Animals’ Path, you can take the cableway from Ronchi, 3 km from the centre of Moena.
