Ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 winter season, the Alpe Lusia Ski Area is pleased to announce a major investment aimed at improving the guest experience from the moment they arrive. The lift management company, S.I.T. Bellamonte Spa, has created a large new parking area in Bellamonte, adding 200 more spaces to the existing capacity and thus responding to a significant customer need.
This development represents a significant step forward for quality tourist hospitality. Many visitors, especially on peak days, have experienced the difficulty of finding parking, a situation the company wanted to address with a strategic intervention. Although demand may remain high during the busiest periods, this expansion is a crucial first step in ensuring easier and more comfortable access to the lifts.
The redevelopment project for the gondola access area was not limited to increasing parking spaces but has also introduced a new concept of traffic flow and safety. The area in front of the lift departure will become a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), thus guaranteeing a safe, fully pedestrianized space for guests. This decision was made especially with the many families with children who visit the resort in mind, allowing them to move freely and safely between the rental shop, ski pass office, ski school, and the gondola, without the worry of passing vehicles.
The new parking system has been designed to be functional and intuitive. Access will be directly from the provincial road: on the right will be the first, existing parking lot, while on the left will be the new parking area. From this new lot, skiers can comfortably reach the services and lift level via a new escalator and elevator.
The company had hoped to inaugurate the season with the project fully completed. However, due to work delays, some final details that reflect the high quality of our services will be finished at a later stage. The final project includes asphalting all parking areas and installing charging stations for electric cars, which will be completed in the near future.
